Anastasiia originally studied land management and cadastre at university - a sensible, practical career path. After graduation, she realised she wanted something different: work that produced visible results, allowed her to build, and gave her the freedom to collaborate with teams anywhere in the world.

She turned to programming and taught herself the fundamentals - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, then deeper into WordPress, React, and modern web stacks. Her first interview at Mettevo included a test task. She passed it, joined the team, and has been shipping client projects ever since.

That self-taught path shapes how she works today: methodical, curious, and unafraid of unfamiliar problems. She knows what it takes to learn a stack from scratch - which means she also knows how to write code that’s clear enough for the next developer to understand without three days of context.
