Why I started Mettevo

When I launched my first business about four years ago, I hired an SEO freelancer who managed to kill it instead of growing it. So I rolled up my sleeves and learned to do it myself and never looked back.

Before Mettevo, I worked with several companies, including Regdesk.co, d2chess.com (now retired), boostingfactory.com, and a handful of smaller projects.

What I do now

Over the past three-plus years I’ve helped dozens of companies reach steady, sustainable growth in organic sales. The part I’m proudest of: helping businesses recover after getting hit by Google updates. Today I work with 20+ clients and 30+ websites.

Running my own company sharpened a broad skill set. These days I handle hiring, teaching, SEO, content writing, project management, and team motivation. I write this blog to share what I learn running Mettevo day to day — the wins, the Google-update recoveries, and the mistakes worth avoiding. Practical stuff you can use, not textbook filler.

Outside work

I don’t have a ton of hobbies. I recently got into sports, and I’ve been gaming competitively, and probably a little unhealthily for 20 years. After marriage and the company, my proudest achievements are hitting #6 on the Heroes of the Storm EU ladder a few years back, and finally earning Gladiator in World of Warcraft this year. That one took about a decade.
